A training programme on the preparation of enriched vermicompost and method of application in the field was jointly organized by DBT-KISAN Sub hub -1 along and partnering institute IISWC, Sunabeda for selected farmers of Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput, Odisha. Bioinputs use has augmented the benefits of crop production by minimising the detrimental effects of overuse of fertilizers and pesticides that significantly deteriorates soil fertility with residual effect in crops.
